Long, boiling hot day at the Bannockburn Albion/St George/Windsor, but great fun. I'm glad I decided to spend time in the "paddling pool" of the Windsor 5o, instead of going for the (my age appropriate) full Windsor. I'm knackered! And happy; I thought my not quite gone tendinitis would act up, but I was pain free the whole day and only limited by aching noodle arms/back from not being able to practice barebow for months, (and completely forgetting about string-walking until the last four ends - remembering did wonders for my groupings. I actually had groupings after that. ^_^) and won the handicap. Advantage of having a few really poor-scoring outdoor competitions thanks to the tendinitis. 0/10 Would still not recommend, though. :)

Bannockburn arranged their usual well-organised competition with very good archer attendance. Another success, and talk of arranging more practice clouts next year. Hope I can take part!
