Lethen Archers WA Combined 2026
Sunday 25th January saw us hosting our first AGB UK record status competition for some years with a WA combined 25m & 18m. The event, while not full, was still quite well attended, considering there were a couple of other shoots in Scotland on the same day, with competitors travelling from all over Scotland to take part. The round consists of a WA25m in the morning, 60 arrows with a 60cm target face at 25m, followed by a WA18m in the afternoon, 60 arrows with a 40cm target fa

Club Championships 2025
On 20th December, we held the awards for our club championships, which took place over two sessions in November. This year, we decided to eliminate the Men's and Women's categories and introduced Open categories for each bow style, with additional medals for the best Novice scores. Both sessions saw good attendance, with some participants choosing to shoot in two different bow styles. There were some fantastic scores, with four new Club Records set. Congratulations to everyon

AGB National Indoors Championship 2025
Huge congratulations to both of our archers who attended the National Indoor Championships held at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry and are both bringing home some bling. Bannockburn Worcester & WA18m
Only two of us at this, probably because it's such a popular shoot and fills up fast. It was an enjoyable day, although quite tiring. We still managed to bring home some bling with two silver medals for Steven and one for Edwin who also got a prize in the raffle. Another great shoot by Bannockburn Bowmen and our thanks go to everyone involved in organising and running the event. Edwin... 🏹🎯 An enjoyable day at the Bannockburn Bowmen Worcester and WA18 today. SFAA Flint Championship 2025
Sunday 2nd November saw a good number of Lethen Field Archers head down to Edinburgh for the SFAA Scottish Indoor Flint Championship 2025. And it was quite a successful trip with a total of eight medals, five new club records and one new Scottish record. Congratulations to everyone who took part, especially Steve and Anna, as this was their first (hopefully of many) competition. Also, a huge thank you to everyone involved in organising and running the event, we really do app

Whitburn 2.4K Challenge 2025
The 11th and 12th of October saw a large contingent of Scottish archers head South of the border to Whitburn Archers for the 2.4K challenge. Amongst them were Lethen Archers Hamish and Debbie and associate members Robyn, Rebecca and Sam. The weekend consisted of four WA18m rounds which sounds like a really gruelling start to the indoor season to me. Our archers, however, did us proud with some fantastic results. Hamish...
