Birkhill - Field Classification shoot

Carin and Edwin had a short jaunt down to Birkhill Field Archers for their first field classification shoot on the new course layout. Both managed to take Gold for their categories and because it was the first classification shoot on the new course, they both set course records as well.

"Fun Sunday impersonating a mountain goat shooting at field targets. The forecast rain didn't happen, and the wind was only noticeable in a few places. Lost and broke more arrows than I had spares for, and had an impressive collection of ticks, but still pleased with my day. Course record - they've just rebuilt it, so only needed one arrow to hit a score and I had some of those. :)"

"Been suffering with a head cold all week and still not fully recovered so score was a bit on the low side. Still had a great day though and enjoyed the new course layout, still think the car park needs to be closer to the course though :)"
