Congratulations to Carin who travelled up to Moray Archers for their Frostbite shoot.
"Had a fantastic day at Moray Archery today! Very well run and fun competitions, starting with the Frostbite (40y, 80cm target, 4 dozen arrows, 5-zone scoring) where the weather (a drizzle to start out with) was thoroughly bested, followed by the Whiskey elimination (where I was saved by someone else's misfortune and ended up third with a nice bottle of cider - out-archered by two talented longbow archers), and ending with a club-bows, own arrows mini-clout at about 70m, the flag of which I promptly over-shot by another 70 meters. ^_^
Beginner's luck stuck with me and I will have my name added to the Frostbite Quaich in very illustrious company.

Many thanks to the Moray Archers for hosting, for the friendly welcome, for providing hot drinks and burger sustenance, a wood fire to warm up by, and even a bit of warm sunshine towards the end!"
