"Joint 2025 Scottish Senior Compound Champions 🏆🏆
I was not expecting to perform as well as I did. Went into the session feeling fresh and relaxed and it showed! A very tight match between me, @jamesr_archer and @kylescottarchery. Given that I'm still using @robyn_hood_x
old bow I was happy to just be able to shoot let alone come joint first.
Thank you to @scottish_archery for hosting such a great event and thank you to @hfg.jpg
and my parents for joining me and being my encouragement.

"The indoor season ends with the SAA Indoor Championships. There was a good turn out in the gents longbows with 6 entries in the masters and 11 in the seniors. That was the best turnout I've seen for a competition in Scotland. Not my best shooting (as has been the case recently) but 3rd place in the Masters (50+) and 5th place in the seniors. Onwards to the outdoors season!"

"I shot the Saturday afternoon session as a warm up and felt very comfortable and strong with my shots. Shot a 566 (which I think could’ve been higher if I wasn’t incredibly warm!!) which got me my 3rd MB score for the season.
Sunday I wasn’t feeling it quite as much, my focus wasn’t really there with all the job/house things happening in the background and I ended on a 560. This was enough for silver in the ladies, and technically the Scottish Champ title for the ladies compound? As the trophies were only awarded for mixed gender there wasn’t anything more for me, but I’m happy with my technicality title 🤷🏼♀️😂
Can’t ever complain about shooting in a hall with so many lovely faces and really looking forward to spending more time with everyone out on the competition field (get me to 50m!!!)
