Saturday - Compound & Barebow

Competing in the compound divisions we had Robyn & Hamish.

In the Women's compound qualification round, Robyn took first place with a score of 652.

While in the Men's compound qualification round, Hamish came second to British paralympian Nathan McQueen MBE with a score of 662.

Onto the Head-to-heads and Hamish did us proud winning his first two rounds and coming up against Nathan in the final where he held his composure but in the end dropped a couple of points to come second.

Robyn also did us proud and with some consistent scores, won all her matches to take gold.

Full Saturday results can be found HERE.

Sunday - Recurve & Longbow

Competing in the recurve divisions we had Debbie & Kris.

Debbie, not feeling 100%, qualified third in the Women's Recurve with a score of 542. Unfortunately she didn't have enough energy for the head-to-heads and went out in her first match.

Kris qualified twenty-ninth in the Men's Recurve with a score of 334 and got knocked out of the head-to-heads in the first round.

"Scottish tour stage 2 - 🥈

I am very happy with today's performance. Qualified with a 2nd place with 662. Could have been higher but the wind decided to change directions on the last end and ruin it all (deffo not my fault). managed to secure a bye straight off the bat.

The first match went against Scott and then onto @jamesr_archer for the semi finals. Managed to secure the win against him and then onto the finals match against @nathanmacparaarcher. Held my nerves and had a lead against him for the first few ends, tied it up on the 2nd last end and then I decided to drop 2 points and take 2nd. Very proud of how I did against him and felt like everything was pretty spot on.

Good job to @chaffe85 on the 3rd place 🥉

"It’s a gold for stage 2!!! 🥇🏆

The weather? Atrocious

The shots? Atrocious

The H2H’s? Actually y’know what they were solid.

In the end, really chuffed with today, has been a long time since i qualified first and finished first in a shoot 😍

Debbie...

"Scottish tour stage 2 at Aberdeen this weekend but unfortunately was feeling below par and it showed. Managed to qualify 3rd but had absolutely no energy left for the head to head matches.

A disappointing day apart from the company 😊🏹
